What we need in Jordan accreditations system to our Hospitals, Bakeries, Restaurants….etc . It is a system where business compete to serve the best to its consumers .By being accredited establishment , this means you are committed to good business ethics .As Public Health and Safety is Paramount I suggest the following to be implemented so we have it as system and not a campaign will die with time.
Have accreditation system for all establishments so المؤسسة العامة للغذاء والدواء issue a certificate of accreditation to all these restaurants, bakries who abide by its regulations. You will find this establishment competing to be accredited because only those accredited will have booming business.
Have at the same time all these accredited registered on المؤسسة العامة للغذاء والدواء web site so people know who is doing business in ethical way . Also have the service to enable people file a complaint against any one they think is providing a service not in accordance with the regulations .All these establishment had complaints against must show on the web site what is the complaint and how it was resolved and if they did because this show commitment to good business practice.
Pay the inspectors 50% of the fine fees so they do not get bribed.
Have specific courts or judicial system specifically to Public health and Safety , such as Environmental pollution, water and food pollution, medical mal practice, construction safety issues, factories safety issues………….etc .
Will we see this accreditation system for our business in Jordan and in Particular those who provide or involved directly in Public Health and Safety.
